PhD Research

One of the strengths of the CNaM Network is the dynamism which research students bring to our activities, be it through academic initiatives such as the doctoral workshops which they have organised, or more social events like our film nights.

See Current PhD Students for profiles of our research students and their projects.

Research Students – Applications

If you already have an idea for the project you would like to pursue at Edinburgh, we advise you to search for a potential supervisor within the CNaM Network whose research interests match up with your own.

An easy way to do this is to consult the Members’ Publications section of our website. If you find a publication related to your research interests, simply click the link in the title and you will be re-directed to the author’s profile, where you will find further information and contact details.

Your prospective supervisor should also be able to advise you concerning the doctoral research funding opportunities available in his or her subject area/school.
